Jeffrey "OneShot" Wong Just Won't Die Spinoff 2 "What a dump," Ranma commented, looking up at Ikkoku-kan. He placed the duffle bag down on the ground. It was dark out, somewhere near ten at night. "I don't understand why we came back in time. I mean, you're supposed to write a history report, not experience history itself," Asuka muttered. "Well, I don't understand why you came alone with Shinji and Rei and me anyway?" Ranma retorted, all ready annoyed. "You could've stayed at home. It's not like we're gonna miss ya or nothing," "Jeez, I would have never had tried to convince to you go back to school if I knew you were going to end up in the same class as me," Asuka commented, crossing her arms over her chest. Shinji said, "Well, all four of us have been grouped together to write this report. It's a group grade, so I guess it's natural that all four of us come to this time," "Was I talking to you, stupid Shinji?!" Asuka shouted at him. A young girl emerged from the somewhat run down building. She looked like she was in her early twenties and had blue-black hair that came down to the bottom of her shoulder blades. Shinji's eyes widened a bit at the sight of her. He seemed to straighten up a bit. She smiled. "Hello," "Um, do you know of any good places where were can spend the week?" Ranma asked. He noticed several tenants looking at them from behind the young girl. There was a short stocky woman that was smoking a cigarette and a man wearing a trench coat. "There's is one vacancy here at Ikkoku-kan," Kyoko replied politely. Ranma shrugged his shoulders, "I mean four vacancies. One room for the each of us. I ain't gonna sleep in the same room as her," he said, jerking a thumb toward Asuka. Rei smirked. Shinji chuckled. "W-well, I wouldn't want to stay in the same room as you anyway!" Asuka retorted. She tured toward Shinji, "And if you don't stop laughing, I'll kick your teeth in. You, too, Wonder Girl!" Kyoko said, "I'm sorry, but we only have one vacancy. We actually have three rooms, ever since we changed part of the attic to a apartment, but two of them is currently being renovated," "All right, nevermind," Ranma said, turning around. A girl emerged from the building. She had curly reddish brown hair. She noticed Ranma, "Ooh, who's that?" Ichinose said, "I dunno. I think he's one of those people that had children at a young age and those three kids behind him are his children," Kyoko twitched a bit. She ignored her nosy tenant and said, "Um, the two extra rooms will be fixed by tomorrow. You would only have to room in one room for only a day. After that, there will be three vacancies to split among the four of you," Ranma looked at Asuka and then back at the young girl, "Um, no thank you. I ain't staying in the same room with this girl," "Ranma!!!" The young woman smiled, "You're welcome to sleep in my room tongiht," she said, walking up to Ranma. "Akemi!" Kyoko said, embarrassed. Ranma looked at Akemi for a short moment. He then said, "All right." he turned toward the three children behind him and said, "Rei, Asuka, Shinji, you three can sleep in that free room tonight. I'll sleep in her room," "What?!?" Kyoko and Asuka seemed to say at the same time. A young looking college student, getting home from his tutoring job, noticed the four people. He noticed that the young man looked to be the same age as himself, perhaps a little bit older, like around Mitaka's age. He didn't like that man already. "Um, what's going on Kyoko?" Yusaku asked curiously. "Akemi's boyfriend is here to sleep with her and he's brought his three children," Ichinose said. "What?!?" everyone seemed to say at once. Ranma leaned against the door of the room that was part of the attic that they were going to use for the night. "All right, how are we gonna do this?" he asked, "Tomorrow, there's going to be three vancant rooms but there's four of us. Someone's gonna hafta room with the other," "I'm not going to room with you, that's for sure," Asuka quickly said, "And I'm not going to room with Wonder Girl nor Stupid Shinji," Ignoring Asuka, Ranma said, "Shinji, you and I can room together. Rei and Asuka can have their own rooms. Is that all right with you?" "Um, sure," he said. Deep down inside, he wouldn't mind being roomed with Rei. "Or would you and Rei like to room together?" "W-what?!" Shinji said, blushing a deep red. His heart started to race. "Do you mind, Rei?" Ranma asked her. She said, "I don't really care. It doesn't matter to me," Ranma said, "Y'know what, I don't think a girl and a boy should be roomed together. Shinji and I will split the room together," "What about me? Don't I h-have a s-say in it?" Shinji piped up. "Well? What do ya want?" Ranma asked. Shinji was silent for several long moments. After a while, he opened his mouth and said, "I'll room with you, Ranma," He wanted to kill himself. Why was he such a wimp? Rei didn't mind but Shinji couldn't seem to get the right words out that would get him and Rei to be rooming together for the next week. Ranma got up, "Well, it's getting late. I'm gonna goto sleep. We'll sort everything out tomorrow," "Where are you going?" Rei asked softly. "To that girl's room," he said, "I forgot her name. I think it was Akemi. Four people sleeping in one room is too much. I'm gonna sleep in hers," Ranma left the room. He knocked on Akemi's door. She answered and was dressed in a very revealing night gown. The outline of her breasts could be seen through the somewhat transparent top half and so could her panties. She smiled at Ranma, "Hi. Please, come in," "Thanks for letting me sleep here," Ranma said, entering. He looked down and noticed that there was only one futon. "Um, is that one yours or mine?" "Ours," she said with a grin. Shrugging his shoulders, he climbed in and said, "All right." He closed his eyes. He was dead tired. "Let's fool around," Akemi said sliding into the futon next to Ranma. "Let's not," Yusaku was in the hallway brushing his teeth in front of the hallway sink when Akemi emerged from the room. She looked like she hadn't slept a wink all last night. "You look like hell," he commented. "You should also wear something else besides that damn night gown," "I feel like hell," she muttered, turning on the faucet and splashing some cold water on her face, "I didn't get a single minute of sleep last night," "Y-you had sex all night long?" Yusaku asked, his eyes widening, his nose threatening to bleed. Akemi glared at Yusaku. Ranma emerged from Akemi's room, feeling refreshed. He stretched his arms out and said, "Man, that felt good," He had a good night's sleep. Yusaku looked at Akemi. A trickle of blood started to flow from his nose. Ranma looked at Yusaku and smirked "Your nose is bleeding," "I know," Ranma shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the children's bedroom and knocked, "Hey, you guys awake? You better not be having some threesome in there. You're too young for stuff like that," The door opened to reveal a zombie like Shinji. Ranma smirked "Lettme guess, ya didn't get any sleep," "You're damn right I didn't," Shinji muttered, grouchy. He looked like he could rip Ranma's head off. Actually, he looked even more grouchy than Akemi. "I was stuck sleeping between Asuka and Rei. And both of them kept twisting and turning and I kept getting woken up!" Ranma chuckled, "Ya want me to hit a pressure point? Shinji said, "Nah. I'm okay. I can last the rest of the day," He stepped out into the hallway where he saw Akemi, who was clad in a revealing night gown. His nose started bleeding. Ranma chuckled. Shinji ran back into the room. "Where the hell are we?" Shinji asked. "P-people walk around in that kind of attire during this time?" Ranma shrugged his shoulders, "Forget about it. Let's wake the girls up. We have a lot of information to gather about this timeline if we wanna get a hundred on that report. Shinji and Ranma looked at Rei and Asuka. They were both sleeping in separate futons. Ranma smirked, "Hey, Rei and Asuka are sleeping. Now's your chance to steel a kiss," Shinji blushed beet red. But then he realized that Ranma's teasing wasn't all that bad. Ranma was a guy, just like himself. That seemed to ease the embarrassment. "I'm not sleeping," Rei said, sitting upright. "I woke up about a half hour ago," She looked at Ranma. Ranma smirked and looked at Shinji, "All right, so, Rei's awake. Asuka's still asleep. You can still kiss her," Shinji blushed. Rei got up out of her futon, "I will go take a shower." Shinji's nose started to bleed again. Rei was clad in pajamas but the front of her shirt was wide open, allowing Shinji a good view of her breasts and flat stomach. Ranma smirked at Rei, "You cold?" Rei looked at Ranma curiously and then looked down. She realized what Ranma meant by that. She blushed a deep shade of red and closed her shirt. She looked down at the floor and said, "You embarrass me," Ranma chuckled. Shinji left the room, his nose nose bleeding like a jugular vein. Outside in the hallway, he clamped his thumb and index finger around his nose and looked up at the ceiling. Yusaku and Akemi looked at Shinji as the young boy looked at the ceiling. "Akemi, get dressed," Yusaku said. Akemi stuck out her tongue. She looked at Shinji for a short moment before shrugging her shoulder and going into her room. Ranma emerged into the hallway again. He looked at Shinji, "Nosebleed again?" Shinji nodded slightly. Ranma laughed, "Oh, this week's stay here's gonna be some fun," After a short moment, he realized something. He turned toward Yusaku and said, "Hey, you have any shaving cream?" Kyoko was outside sweeping the sidewalk. She was wondering who in the world that Ranma Saotome was. And who those three children were. All she knew was that their names were Ranma, Rei, Shinji, and Asuka and that that were going to be staying for a week, give or take a day. She didn't really know if Ranma was Akemi's boyfriend or if Ranma was those three children's father. When Ichinose had said that, Ranma had seemed surprised at first, but simply shrugged his shoulders and made no mention of it. Kyoko looked up toward the second story windows and saw Yusaku standing there, brushing his teeth. When their gaze met, Yusaku quickly turned his attention elsewhere. Her eyes widened when all of a sudden, she saw Ranma's top half of his body pop out of the window. He was being choked by a very angry looking red haired girl. A small part of her face had a white foam on it. "I'll kill you!!!" Asuka shouted, trying to push Ranma out the window while simultaneously choking him. "How dare you put shaving cream in my hand and tickle my nose like that!!!!" Ranma was laughing. "Hahahahaha, that expression on your face was priceless!!!" Asuka cocked a hand back and punched Ranma right in the jaw. Ranma, being in such a precarious position, already half out the window, fell out the window when she puched him. Kyoko gasped as she saw Ranma fall out the second window. What shocked her even more was when Ranma twisted in mid air and landed on his feet gracefully. And after he landed on his feet, he looked up at the fuming red haired girl and grinned, "C'mon, Asuka, you know you can't hurt me," "Fuck you!" Asuka shouted. She ducked her head back in the window. A moment later, her head popped back out as she threw a buck of water out, the contents dumping all over on a shocked Ranma, drenching him. Asuka grinned as she gazed down at the soaking wet Ranma, "I don't see you laughing now, oyaji!!!" She ducked her head back into the building. She walked over to Yusaku, who was staring at her in shock, and handed him the buckle back, minus the water. "Thanks," Ranma was silent. He then smirked and took of his soaking shirt, exposing his well defined back for Kyoko to see. When he turned around, he caught sight of Kyoko. "Hi," Ranma said, right before walking past her and back into the building. Kyoko stood there for a moment, wondering if she had just made a big mistake. So far, this Ranma and Asuka person seemed worse than all her tenants combined. "Who are these people?" Kyoko and everyone else were gathered in front of the complex. This was when everyone had been formally introduced everybody else. She had found out that Ranma was twenty five and that the three children were fifteen, Ranma the children's guardian. Yusaku seemed to dislike Ranma a bit. Perhaps he viewed Ranma like Mitaka, as competition for Kyoko's affection. The young boy, Shinji, seemed to have developed a small crush on Akemi and glanced toward her whenever she wasn't looking. Kentaro has developed a crush on the blue haired girl, Rei. It seemed obvious to everyone that Asuka seemed to have very strong hostility toward her guardian, Ranma. "Um, I'll see you later," Yusaku said nervously. He wished he could kiss her goodbye like the way a husband and wife would do. "I'm off to school," "Goodbye," Kyoko said with a warm smile. Yusaku said goodbye to the three children and left. After he left, Akemi left for work and so did Yotsuya, where ever that was. Ichinose left with Kentaro, Kentaro saying goodbye to Rei before leaving, to take him to school and buy some groceries afterwards. All that remained at Ikkoku-kan were Ranma, Kyoko, and the three children. There was an awkward silence among them as they stood in front of the complex. Ranma didn't seem to notice because nothing seemed to bother him nowadays. "Um, the renovations for the other two rooms should be done by tonight," Kyoko said. "Good," Ranma said. "So, what are we going to do now?" Shinji asked. Ranma reached into his pocket and pulled out a massive wad of cash, probably enough cash to build Ikkoku-kan. Kyoko's eyes widened at the sight. If this man had this much cash, why was he rooming at a place like this. Sure, it had a cosy feeling to it, but there were much better, better maintained, complexes where he and the three children could stay. Ranma split the wad of bills four ways, "All right, here's some money. Go buy some clothes, enough to last the week. I'm gonna go buy some clothes also and some food. We'll meet back here in two hours. Is that all right?" The children nodded. Ranma smirked as he handed Asuka a bit more money than the others, "Here's some extra money, go buy yourself a personality," Asuka's glared at Ranma. She took his money and threw it in his face, "Here's what I think of your money, oyaji!!!" The money fell to the ground and fluttered away when a strong gust of wind. What surprised Kyoko was that Ranma nor any of the children bother to go after it. It seems that money didn't really matter to them. Kyoko wondered if she should go after it. It was a lot of money, afterall. Shrugging his shoulders, Ranma said, "I was just joking around. Anyway, I'll see you back here in two hours," Asuka hmphed. Rei and Shinji nodded. Together, all three children left. Ranma turned toward Kyoko and smiled. "Um, so you're only staying here for the week?" He nodded, "Yep. We're here to do some research. Once we're done, we leave," "Oh," "Well, see ya," he said, walking off, "I'll be back later....and you like Yusaku." Ranma disappeared around the corner. "W-what did he just say?" Two hours later, Ranma and the three children arrived at Ikkoku-kan, all three children coming from one street while Ranma the other. Shinji was carrying several bags that seemed to heavy for him. "Here let me help you," Kyoko said. She had been outside, about to feed Soichiro-san when she noticed their arrival. She rushed up to Shinji and took several bags, noting that the few she took was quite heavy. She was a bit surprised that Shinji was stronger than he looked. "Jeez, whatcha got in those bags?" Ranma asked. He had his own bag. "All of the girls' clothes," Shinji muttered, adjusting the bag. His arms were tired. He wished he hadn't bumped into them around town. Leave it to Asuka to take advantage of him and telling him that he must carry the bags because he was a guy and that was what guy's do. Ranma took several bags, looking into one of them. His eyes widened. There must have been twenty panties in there. "Hey, what do you think you're doing?!" Asuka nearly shouted at him. Of all the bags he had to look in, why did it have to be that one? "Jeez, what the hell do you need so many panties for?" Ranma asked, "We're only staying here for about a week. What's with you women. Do you wear different kinda panties depending on your mood? Jeez," Kyoko glared at Ranma. This man was such a sexist pig. "What did you buy?" Shinji asked. Ranma reached into his bag and pulled out a pair of a pair of boxers. "That's it? We're going to be staying for a week, right?" Shinji asked, confused. He figured there should at least be some more. "Nope, that's all," Ranma said. "I'm gonna wear the clothes on my back for the week," "That's so disgusting. You're going to wear the same clothes for a week?" Asuka nearly gasped. "Hey, I have no gripes with wearing the same pair of pants for a month if I had to," Ranma said, "However, I did buy a pair of boxers. That way, I won't be wearing the same pair twice in a row. I'll wear these boxers when I'm washing these clothes and the boxers I'm wearing. Y'see, problem solved," "Gee, we sure have a real genius at work," Asuka muttered sarcastically. "Anyway, now that we have clothes," Ranma said, ignoring Asuka, "Let's go out and get something to eat," He turned toward Kyoko and asked, "Is there any good place around here to eat?" Kyoko was momentarily startled. She had been transfixed on the scene playing out in front of her. From what she had seen, all she could surmise was that Ranma was a sexist pig, which made her wonder how he and the polite Shinji could be part of the same gender and that Asuka seemed to hold some kind of feelings toward hims, what with that contemptuous exterior she had toward him. "What was that?" she asked. He repeated his question. "There's a really nice restaurant down the street, Star's Restaurant, that you might like," she replied. "It's just around the corner," He smiled, "Thanks," He turned toward Shinji and grabbed all of the bags out of his hands, holding them all with one hand, taking the other bags in a somewhat shocked Kyoko's hands before he entered Ikkoku-kan, emerging several moments later. "All right, let's go, my treat," he said as the three children followed him. Kyoko was silent for a moment. Maybe Ranma wasn't such a bad person afterall. "Hey, Asuka, maybe you shouldn't come with us because you look like you're gaining weight," Ranma teased, wanting to get a stir out of her. "W-what?!" Asuka nearly exploded. Kyoko face faulted. Perhaps not. Ranma and the kids sat down in the restaurant. "So, what do you want to do after this" he asked, nearly inhaling his meal. Asuka watched him in disgust, and commented, "You're such a pig, Ranma," "So?" "Well, I think it's a good idea if we chek out the newstands and pick up as many newspapers as we can" Shinji said, eating slowly, "If we read enough of the articles, we'll probably find some real good event for our group project," "Good idea," Ranma said. Shinji smiled slightly, liking the praise. "Hey, why are you praising Shinji?" Asuka said, eye narrowing, a tinge of jealousy flooding through her system, "I was the one that suggested it. I should be the one getting the praise," "Ya want me to praise you instead?" Ranma asked dumbly, more interested in his food. "No! Not from you!" she replied, hiding a blush. Ranma and the children arrived back at Ikkoku-kan shortly after five in the evening, right around the time when everyone else was coming home. They were greeted by Yusaku who had happened to have come home from tutoring Kyoko's niece. "Hello. How're you doing?" Yusaku said polited. There was a nervousness in his voice because Kyoko's niece was everybit as in factuated with him as he wished she wasn't. It had made him high strung from the tutoring lesson. "Hey. Fine. You?" Ranma said. "Okay," Yusaku replied. Ranma then walked past Yusaku and into the building. Yusaku watched as Ranma entered the house and made a left turn. Left turn? That would lead to Kyoko's apartment. Quickly, he rushed after Ranma, pretending he was also heading into the building. Once inside, he walked up to the phone and picked it up, pretending he was going to call someone as he wondered what Ranma wanted to see Kyoko about. Ranma knocked on the door, "Hey, Kyoko, you there?" Yusaku's grip on the receiver tightened. Kyoko! How can Ranma just say her name so casually? They don't even know each other! Kyoko answered the door. Her eyes narrowed a bit at Ranma as he smiply grinned. "I'd appreciate it that you don't call me 'Kyoko' like that. We don't even know each other," she said, her voice a bit harsh. She was angry at Ranma for what he had said to poor Asuka earlier, about her needing to lose weight. That was so mean of him to do something like that. "All right," Ranma said, a bit taken aback. He was surprised that Kyoko had this air of authority to her that he hadn't noticed before. "Now, how can I help you?" she asked after a deep breath. "You said the rooms should be fixed by now," he said, "I wanna drop some stuff off because the other room's getting crowded," Yusaku found himself straining to hear. He was too far away and they were talking too softly now. "Come in, I'll go get the keys," Kyoko said. Ranma entered Kyoko's apartment. "What the?" Yusaku muttered, his eyes widening. Ranma was hear for one day and already he was making his move. He was just as bad as Mitaka. "Why are you so angry?" Asuka asked, nearly giving Yusaku a heartattack. She and the other two had finally come in from outside and had noticed how angry Yusaku looked. Funny, because he didn't look angry a second ago when he was outside. "Um, er, it's the person on the other line," Yusaku quickly liked. At that moment, the receiver started letting out a loud ring to signal that it had been off the hook for too long. Asuka smirked a bit. Shinji was confused. Rei remained silent. "Strange," Asuka said, smirking, "You must have been so angry that you haven't realized the guy had hung up on you about three minutes ago," Yusaku gritted his teeth. Why did this red haired girl have to be so observant and smart? He said nothing. It was best to say nothing and her think he might be a bit foolish than say something and erase all doubt of it. Ranma emerged from Kyoko's apartment. "Thanks for the keys, Kyoko," Yusaku gritted his teeth. Kyoko? It's Karinin-san to you buddy! "Saotome-san, please, call me either Otonashi-san or Karinin-san," Kyoko said. She didn't like the casualness of Ranma calling her by her first name. All right!! Yusaku thought, nearly jumping up and down. You tell him that!! You show him who's boss!! "All right," Ranma shrugged his shoulders. "Are you still going to hold that beeping phone," Asuka asked, smirking still. Yusaku hung up the phone and simply walked by the three children and up to his room. It was no use, he couldn't hear what Ranma and Kyoko were talking about. He had a good idea what it was though. It was most likely Ranma trying to ask her out on a date, that cad. "What's with him?" Shinji asked as he watched Yusaku head up the stairs. "Beats me," Asuka replied with a shrug of her shoulders. She suddenly realized she had been around Ranma too much because she never shrugged her shoulders like that. It annoyed her that Ranma's personality was rubbing off on her. After Kyoko went back into her apartment, Ranma walked up to the three children and showed them the key, "Well, I got the keys to the apartments," He jerked a thumb at the two vacant room downstairs. He handed a key to Asuka and a key to Rei, "There ya go, your own apartments for the week," Rei looked at her keys and then back up at Ranma. "It's about time," Asuka said, "I was getting sick of sleeping in such a cramped room. Now I can at least stretch out," She walked up to the door with the room number that corresponded to the key. She opened the door and entered. The room was just like the other one she had been staying in. However, since this would be her own, it would be a lot better. Looking around, she found it a bit below her high standards but tolerable. At that moment, the ceiling opened up and a head popped through. "Eek!!!" Asuka screamed. Ranma and the others came rushing in. Asuka pointed at the head up on the ceiling. It took a moment before they realized it was Yotsuya's head. Somehow, he had made a hole in this apartment that lead him down Asuka's. "Hello," Yotsuya said, waving. Ranma said, "It's only one of the tenants. It's nothing to worry about," "But there's a hole!! He could peep on me!!" Asuka shouted. Shinji's nose almost started to bleed. He wondered what it would be like if he had Yotsuya's apartment and Asuka was changing downstairs. He left the room, as if uninterested in Asuka's problems. "So?" "So?!" Asuka's eyes widened, "What the hell do you mean by 'So?'?!?!?!" "We're gonna be gone in a week so what does it matter?" he replied matter-of-factly. Asuka turned toward Rei and took her keys, "I'm going to take your apartment. You can have this one," She shuddered as she left the apartment. She went on over to the other apartment, the room right next to the one she had just been in. Shinji was looking out the window, standing pretty close to it for that matter. Not really caring about what Shinji found so interesting about looking out the window, she went into the other apartment. "There better be no peep hole," she muttered, "Even though I have a body worth peeping in on, I don't want anyone peeping in on my. That damn pervert. How the hell did he put a hole up there?" She started to meticulously check the walls for any holes, finding none. After that, she climbed ontop of the kitchen counter to check the ceiling more closely. "Nice panties," Ranma said, entering the room. He was just teasing, as always. "You pervert!!!" Asuka shouted, trying to hold her dress down. It didn't even occur to her that her dress came down to her ankles, making it impossible for Ranma to see her panties. In her attempt to block out Ranma's attempt at sneaking a peek, she ended up slipping and falling forward off the kitchen counter. Ranma quickly lept forward and caught Asuka. "Let go of me!!" Asuka nearly shouted, more furious than grateful. "I wouldn't've fallen if it weren't for you!!" Ranma let her down and started looking around the room. He ignored her remarks about how much of an asshole he was as he looked out the window in back. "Do you like it?" he asked. Asuka knew it was useless to insult Ranma. He never seemed to pay attention anyway. Well, she was going to find a way to get back at him. "Hmph, I guess it'll do," The handsome Shun Mitaka, a tennis coach of a local tennis recreational center, decided to drop by unannounced that evening. Kyoko had accidentally left her watch there after she had left. It just so happened that Kyoko had been looking around for it in her apartment shortly before Ranma had knocked, asking if the rooms were ready. Since he had a phobia of dogs, it took him several minutes before he managed to make his way past the dog. Entering into the apartment complex, he took several minutes to get his heart to stop racing. Once calm, he walked over to Kyoko's apartment door, gripping the watch tightinly in his hand. He was grateful that he had a reason to stop by. He would simply tell her he wanted to drop the watch off and perhaps ask her out on a date. He knocked on Kyoko's door. The door opened to reveal Kyoko, in all her slendor, making Mitaka grateful for having come here in the first place. Seeing her again made the trip worth it. "Mitaka-san," she said a bit surprised. Ranma looked up from the table and gazed at the man standing in the doorway. "Oh, I'm sorry, you have company," Mitaka said, thoughts racing through his mind. Who was that guy that was in there, he thought. He couldn't help but notice that the man looked young, around Kyoko's age, and quite handsome. He noticed three children sitting next to the man, all three of them probably around fifteen or so. They were all staring at him. Ranma shrugged his shoulders and turned back onto the newspaper on laid out in front of him on the table. He would have been looking throught he papers up in his apartment, but it didn't seem to bother Kyoko. Rei had asked Kyoko if she had any newspapers, and she said she did. However, she didn't want Rei to carry all the newpapers to her room so she offered to let her look through them in here. Shortly after that, Asuka and Shinji came around looking for Rei, the both of them ending up staying. When Ranma came around, it took Kyoko a short while to allow him to stay. It only seemed polite to let Ranma stay along with the children. However, now she was having her regrets now that Mitaka had dropped by unannounced. Asuka's eyes lit up at the sight of the handsome tennis coach. Rei showed no form of interested and Shinji simply turned back onto the newspapers. "Um, I came here to drop your watch off. You left it at the tennis courts today," Mitaka said, handing Kyoko her watch. "Thank you. I've been looking around it," Kyoko said gratefully. There was a moment of awkward silence. Mitaka would have asked for Kyoko if they could perhaps take a little walk, but now that she had company, it was totally different. Asuka smiled warmly as she extended her hand, "Hi. I'm Asuka. Soryu Asuka Langley." Mitaka smiled sheepishly as he took her hand and shook it. "I'm Shun Mitaka. It's a pleasure meeting you," Asuka blushed slightly the shook hands. She then sat back down, gazing up at him. "This is Shinji Ikari," Kyoko said, guesturing, "Rei Ayanami. And....Ranma Saotome," Shinji nodded, acknowledging Mitaka's presence. Rei looked at him for about a second before turning back to her newpaper. Ranma didn't bother looking up, already having seen Mitaka a second ago. He continued to stare down at the newpapers. "Um, I guess I came by at a bad time," Mitaka said, chuckling a bit. "I'm sorry," Kyoko said, "But I really appreciate you having dropped the watch off," "I guess I better get going," he said, turning around and leaving. "I'll walk you out," Asuka offered, getting up and walking over to Mitaka's side. Mitaka's visage grew a bit nervous, "Um, there's no need. I can see myself out," He quickly turned around and left, while Asuka just stood there, watching Mitaka before he disappeared around the corner. After a moment, she sighed. "He your boyfriend?" Ranma asked Kyoko. Asuka glared at Kyoko. Competition.... Kyoko nervously said, "Um, no. Not at all. He's the t-tennis coach of the local tennis club," Ranma grinned at Asuka, "Hey, ain't that nice to hear, Asuka? Now you can have him all to yourself," Asuka blushed, "You shut up!! It's none of your business anyway," Shinji continued to concentrate on the newpaper. Or at least tired to concentrate. Rei seemed like she could care less. Kyoko said nothing but some thoughts ran through her mind. First off, Asuka looked too young for Mitaka. It also seemed like a crush which would most likely go away given some time....hopefully. Oh my god, how can I be thinking of such things?! Why am I getting jealous?! Akemi came into the room, "Was that Mitaka-kun I saw leaving in his car?" She was clad in her nightgown, which was odd because it wasn't even night time yet. It was only nearing twilight. As soon as her head peeked into the room, her eyes lit up at the sight of Ranma, "Ranma, you're back!" "H-hi, Akemi," Shinji said nervously. He took several glances at her but made sure his gaze didn't linger on her that long. "Hey, kid," Akemi said, to Shinji, winking as she entered the room, sitting down next to Ranma. Shinji blushed while Asuka glared at him. Shinji, seeing this, glared back at her, challenging her. Ranma said, "Aren't ya cold in that thing? I mean, you might as well wear nothing at all," "Ranma," Kyoko said, "Don't go given her any ideas," "Yes, yes," he muttered with a wave of his hand. Akemi stuck her tongue at Kyoko. She leaned against Ranma and said in a sultry voice into his ears, "I'll do as she says, not unless you want me to wear nothing, Ranma-kun," She placed a hand on his lap. "If you two are going to engage in sexual acts, go elsewhere," Asuka said, glaring at Ranma and Akemi.
