Let's be idiotic and play with balloons

I love anime conventions. It's a really good place to meet new people as well as anime fans. One of the main reasons why I really enjoy going to anime conventions is the Masquerade. That's when people cosplay, dress up as their favorite anime characters, and do some kinda skit on stage. Around 90% of all the Masquerade skits suck, but those remaining 10% are what makes the Masquerade worth it.

To every Masquerade I've been to, I noticed something, especially after we are all seated and waiting for the Masquerade to begin. As we wait, I see a lotta people in the crowd playing with balloons. What were they doing? How were they playing with balloons? Everyone in the crowd was playing this moronic game called 'Let's not let the balloon touch the ground'. I know you guys see this all over the place. Some idiot tosses a balloon into the air in the middle of a crowd where the crowd suddenly feels the need to constantly hit the balloon up in the air to prevent it from touching the ground.

To all those people that do do that, I ask you one question. How the fuck can you find amusement in something like playing with a goddamn balloon?! IT'S A FUCKING BALLOON!!! Why dontcha go trick a dog while you're at it? Maybe that might be more amusing. Hitting some stupid-ass balloon not only endangers yourself, but it also endangers the hapless people sitting/standing near your pathetic self. This is because there is a chance that you're going to elbow someone nearby just because you wanted to hit the balloon and ended up forgetting there were people around you. You know what I would find amusing? Seeing your ass get sued for breaking some poor dude's nose because you're an idiot for finding amusement in playing that idiotic 'Let's keep the balloon from hitting the ground' game. Heh, it sounds like I'm contradicting myself, I don't find something trivial like playing with a balloon amusing while I'm amused by something trivial like some idiot getting sued for doing something trivial like playing with a balloon.

Did I used to play this 'Let's keep the balloon from touching the ground' game? I used to do it, when I was really young. However, I grew to fuck up. But then again, since everyone else seems to find amusement in playing with balloons beside myself, perhaps there's something wrong with me. Maybe my not being so easily amused means I'm screwed up.

Am I weird for not finding amusement in playing with balloons?
